I was fortunate enough to visit the Patek factory last year and at the end of the visit, we were all asked to sit in the boardroom. Minutes later the entire Patek collection was brought out for us to try on and play with and I had the opportunity to have my second close encounter with the 5959P! The first encounter was at an AD in London which was a non working model but I would have been quite happy to pay money for the non working model!! 
I guess I am fairly conservative so I still prefer my dials white or silver even though the trend seems to be either black or blue. I have to see the 5959R to decide if it is a man's and woman's watch (my imagination is not as good as yours!) and I will have my 5959R with a silver dial please.
By the way, I attended the Patek Phliippe minute repeater workshop a few months ago and I can safely say that the 5078R or 7000R sounds better than the 5078P. Apparently, a rose gold case gives a better resonance than a platinum case. The 5078P looks good though and could be mistaken for a Phlippe DuFour Simplicity!
I love my 7200R- London edition even though I wish Patek had constructed it with 4 or 5 microns of copper instead of 3 microns which makes the watch look more like a yellow gold watch

Well all numerals are Arabic unless they happen to be Roman or in same cases written in a different language. It\'s based on the Arabic numeral system. Within that you would get different calligraphic fonts I would guess.

It is personal, of course, but I have found no shortcomings
Aside from the size of the cushion case, it is very thin and very comfortable to wear. I had a crush on the 5940g for some time, and just could not seem to shake it. I finally gave in, and have not looked back. True romance. One of my favorite pieces.
