OMG Mike!!!
In my lounge, I have framed up a limited edition print of the movement of the 5959 and I agree that the platinum version (with the white dial) was sublime. I have tried that watch on twice but could not bring myself to sell my home and rent instead! 
At 33.2mm , it is close to perfection for me and it is quite interesting that Patek classify the 5959 as a men's watch whereas the 7200R at 34.6mm is a ladies watch! The watch for me is beyond holy grail status and if I ever inherit a large amount of money, I shall write a letter to Thierry Stern and ask him if he could make me a platinum, rose gold (silver dial) or even stainless steel 5959. I would be willing to pay extra for the case. That movement Mike is the prettiest movement ever, bar none (well, at least in my opinion). Now to find a rich aunty!!!

Well all numerals are Arabic unless they happen to be Roman or in same cases written in a different language. It\'s based on the Arabic numeral system. Within that you would get different calligraphic fonts I would guess.

It is personal, of course, but I have found no shortcomings
Aside from the size of the cushion case, it is very thin and very comfortable to wear. I had a crush on the 5940g for some time, and just could not seem to shake it. I finally gave in, and have not looked back. True romance. One of my favorite pieces.
