The price is high but if they paid the same amount in a recent auction for a Rolex Hulk Steel and ..let's not even look at Patek absurd pricing (and "allocation strategy" are you worth enough to buy our products?) this would be doable for someone that looks for a special moonwatch with 321 movement and exclusive finish/alloy.
Expensive yes but not outrageous.

It is a stunning watch, great details, technology and design but I'm happy with the 2017 version at 1/10th of the price ) ...
So about the price of a Lange Datograph...
I don't care what precious metal it's made of...the movement quality/finish does not match the massive price tag.

Pricing and product strategy absurd, in my opinion.
It makes the EdWhite 321 looks like a really good buy.
There's lots of watches at or near this price point that are likely not better but we've all been trained to "think" they are. Lots of people having that perception aids resale value but that
has little to do with actual quality of the product. GS fights a similar battle to gain respect.
Get the trilogy grey and call it a day.
I wear my trilogy Seamaster on a strap or NATO because I’m not a big fan of the bracelet. As such, I would not be interested in this one and would rather have the non limited Canopus Speedmaster. At half the price too.
