Now, I'm not about to buy any watch at that kind of price level. But, if I were, the sheer gravitas of rightfully legendary cal 321 would be at least as weighty in my assessment as finishing aplomb.

It is a stunning watch, great details, technology and design but I'm happy with the 2017 version at 1/10th of the price ) ...

Pricing and product strategy absurd, in my opinion.
It makes the EdWhite 321 looks like a really good buy.
There's lots of watches at or near this price point that are likely not better but we've all been trained to "think" they are. Lots of people having that perception aids resale value but that
has little to do with actual quality of the product. GS fights a similar battle to gain respect.
Get the trilogy grey and call it a day.
I wear my trilogy Seamaster on a strap or NATO because I’m not a big fan of the bracelet. As such, I would not be interested in this one and would rather have the non limited Canopus Speedmaster. At half the price too.
