So about the price of a Lange Datograph...
I don't care what precious metal it's made of...the movement quality/finish does not match the massive price tag.
+4 - not sure what Omega is trying to achieve, but this pricing is way way over the top. Anyone buying this at anywhere close to list needs a medical urgently.
When i fist saw this this am I got excited, until i saw the price. Not worth it compared to other horological marvels in that price range IMO!

Cannot possibly imagine anyone who would buy this instead of a Datograph or a PP5070... or any PM Daytona.
If memory serves correct, fifteen years ago a steel ref 3572.50 was priced . . .
. . . a fifth the list of a solid gold Speedy. The current steel Ed White 321 lists at just over $14K.

Now, I'm not about to buy any watch at that kind of price level. But, if I were, the sheer gravitas of rightfully legendary cal 321 would be at least as weighty in my assessment as finishing aplomb.

I’ve read comments like it’s vc, als territory. But i think this one is arguably playing in that league. Onyx dial. Enamel filled bezel. Handmade mov’t iirc and in very low production numbers. And a legendary one to boot. Then there’s the bracelet. Next to the oyster, this is probably as classically beautiful as it gets. Maybe they just want to take the air out of any potential gray market nonsense and price it at the top end already. If you want it, you want it. I don;t think they’ll be making a lot of these anyway.
