The Omega Seamaster 600 aka Ploprof early MKII configuration from 1972.
All correct configuration.
The C shape case - observe the notches near the lock nut which can be seen from the top. Sandwich dial (MKII) the 600 is placed in between the Seamaster and Profession hence sandwich and prone to degrade due to the materials of the base plate reacting to the paint not water intrusion. Non serif bezel observe the "I0" with flat top "3". Finally the hour hand lume goes all the way to the tip of the hand. Presented on the original Isofrane rubber strap.
Watch was sold in Ecuador May 31st ,1972 with 320xxxxx mouvement serial.
Tool watches sold to professional divers.
The C shape case was and adjustment to allow clearance for the lock screw to stay free from debris. It was the second choice after the red plastic lock nut which would lose its threads after some use due to plastic angainst steel. The story was the divers did not clean the watch after diving and debris (salt corrosion) would cause the lock nut to get stuck.

The originals all beat up look magnificent and would love one for my collection one day. In general I don't mind when brands re-make historical pieces but IMO vintage is the only way to go when considering a Ploprof.
Will respectfully differ regarding the second generation . . .
