The best post of this month.
Because i am considering a world timer after i’ve got my first moon phase or other complication watch besides dates, gmt, and perpetuals which i score already.
I have one Omega, so i taste the great flavor they serve.
Better said, the second one could coming sooner than i think.
A CK2505. The counter for next year could reach 3 Omega’s.
But staying at the world timer subject, the aqua terra world timer is my first choice for now.
I think i will go for the stainless on blue rubber.
Others: I have a MB tellerum on my mind as well.
A GP WT TC is good, but it annoys me it’s a chrono, albeit i could make one exception for this
FC have a nice green dialed wt and BandM have a capeland wt.
The MB tellerum is the only one that can beat the Omega in terms of beauty and price.
Sure the FC is not so expensive, albeit, Omega is hard to beat for me personally.
I see it as one of the best watches on the globe for your money to spend.
The mother of all world timers is the line that Patek Philippe offers, and i spotted reasonable priced peaces. A bit beyond my reach, albeit that is a luxury problem.
Back and your Omega boutique visit.
Hardly to ignore, The scratch at 6pm.
Ouch!
Pain!
I know myself, i am allergic for scratches.
That’s why i am not buying online, only watches under 600E.
I sit already with a problem with a rare B and M which i found only online.
It’s from a official boutique, but your story woke me up that an official boutique could make a mistake with damaged watches.
I bought a scratched watch from an AD, and it was ruining the party.
So i must visit a boutique and AD to inspect the watches if they are free of scratches.
A small talk about more scratches could catch a watch is for me a no brainer, because i wear for years my watches without making a single scratch on the watch.
It is a matter of care, and i have no difficulties keeping my watches as new.
You put your credit card back when you noticed the scratch.
Good decision.
And when salesmen want to give a discount, that is also no reason to buy a new scratched watch.
I hope the Omega boutique employers you met, wil get an undamaged Omega Aqua Terra worldtimer for you soon.
Date window preferences. Personally i have no sensitive reasons for date complications.
If on a watch the date sit at 4, ok.
9, ok.
No date, ok.
Bad readable date, no problem.
