Seriously: I've allowed myself the luxury of actually only having watches in my collection that I'm absolutely convinced of and that I love 100%.
I have already sold and discarded all the other pieces (even a Patek AC, a Rolex DD 36 mm, a JLC Reverso etc etc that I didn’t like anymore). Watches that I no longer want to wear are mercilessly sold and the proceeds are used as a basis for purchasing new watches.
So the watches that are still in my collection are completely save. At least at the moment. 😎

The Sedna gold version convinced me. I also like here the wonderful contrast of the white dial to the the laser-made map. But a full gold watch with full gold bracelet would be too much for me. With the leather strap it feels more subtle.

It’s not just because of
diving or swimming. When the WR is higher, the protection against dust, mud, heavy rain, high humidity, high temperature differences is also better. It simply makes me feel more comfortable knowing my travel watch might take a beating too.
It’s a pity.
I always wonder why in general it isn’t possible to have a WR of 10 (or - that's okay with me too - at least 6) bar as a minimum standard for all modern watches. Is this really so difficult to produce?

Indeed a huge universe. But I learned if you have clear requirements, what you expect from your travel world watch (features it must have for me like a WR of at least 10 bar and a PR of at least 72 hours), then the possible selection is rapidly reduced.

This is a very nice watch
I tried on the steel version and liked it a lot. This WT takes a different approach, the time adjusts but the cities stay in the same place on the dial. I think that helps the watch price be more approachable. I hope a scratch less version finds you soon....
