Indeed.
Have you ever tried one on your wrist?
A very special feeling and a “different” watch for sure.
Hahahaha!

That was what I also told to the sales staff. No they try l hard to solve the problem, then I would walk out of the shop and a few days later I would scratch the watch by myself. 😎 That would be the same result but a complete different feeling. To buy som...
Thanks a lot Michael!

Yes, this would be my first Omega and I was astonished about the build quality of this model. The whole concept of this Worldtimer seems very well thought out. I also had a look at the steel version with the steel bracelet (not the rubber strap). To be ho...
I feel the same.

The Sedna gold version convinced me. I also like here the wonderful contrast of the white dial to the the laser-made map. But a full gold watch with full gold bracelet would be too much for me. With the leather strap it feels more subtle.

The best post of this month. Because i am considering a world timer after i’ve got my first moon phase or other complication watch besides dates, gmt, and perpetuals which i score already. I have one Omega, so i taste the great flavor they serve. Better s...
One step closer
By: LiftAngle51 : January 22nd, 2022-12:10
Throughout some changes in my situation, a world timer watch is more closer than i thought. The Aqua Terra wt, or the Montblanc wt, one of these could become my first watch for this year. Other watches, an oscillator and today maybe the decision can fall,...
It’s not just because of

diving or swimming. When the WR is higher, the protection against dust, mud, heavy rain, high humidity, high temperature differences is also better. It simply makes me feel more comfortable knowing my travel watch might take a beating too.
It’s a pity.

I always wonder why in general it isn’t possible to have a WR of 10 (or - that's okay with me too - at least 6) bar as a minimum standard for all modern watches. Is this really so difficult to produce?
The name say the WR

Aqua Terra WT, it is a Seamaster. Other world timers are desk watches. Better said, it are business trip watches. Maybe sauna stream must be overwon. An other point why brands use a poor WR rate for world timers are the difficulties that come with sapphir...

I look at pictures, ch24. Maybe i must see the JLC’s geophysics in the flesh to get a better opinion. It’s a kind of style that must be burned in me. My experience with watches are when i see pictures and after some time i am in a store, that i fell for t...
I do it the same.
By: MTR : January 22nd, 2022-21:04
First I make a research on the internet (above all WatchProSite of course), books, catalogs etc. And then - the most important step - I have to see the watch in real. And then it’s a 100% love or not. If it’s not a 100% love I won’t buy it. Sometimes it h...
Merci, mon ami 🙏

Indeed a huge universe. But I learned if you have clear requirements, what you expect from your travel world watch (features it must have for me like a WR of at least 10 bar and a PR of at least 72 hours), then the possible selection is rapidly reduced.
Hahaha

Dear Art, I will definitely go for the Omega Aqua Terra Worldtimer. And the rest of the watches in my collection won’t get nervous because they are used to grief. 😎 Seriously: I've allowed myself the luxury of actually only having watches in my collection...
It’s a GMT Worldtimer

The dial has three different rings. The outer ring is shared between the applied hour indices and the city labels. The exterior section of the dial includes a circle of global destinations printed in red (GMT), blue ( 1h in summer) and Sedna gold (places ...
Update

Today I was called by the shop. Their managing director has now personally inspected the watch. It is said to be really just a "touch" of a scratch that is "completely superficial" and would be removed with a quick very very light polish for one second (w...
