TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!
I spend most of my time on the Patek and Rolex forums, but I was browsing here because I am considering the PAM 275 or 321. (I collect GMT watches). I find the replacement of the movement totally unacceptable. The watch should be replaced. First, since you know longer have a "number matching" piece, the value is significantly diminished. Second, the case and/ or crown was obviously not water-proofed . I would have demanded a new one or asked for reimbursement. I have to say, this thread, which speaks to both poor quality control and lack of customer service have made me completely re-think acquiring my first panerai.

I see this w/ other brands as well. Faulty product delivered and if the buyer don't spot the problem quickly and have the product replaced then they'll have to bear w/ wait for watch servicing.
