matter of principle
listen;
the moment you purchase a good you have a binding agreement. You pay money (your part of the binding agreement) for a good that the other party has to deliver (their part of the binding agreement). Meaning: a working product. If the product failed, the party who delivered the product has ,by law, the right to fix it. BUT it has to be fixed in a reasonable time period. This isn't. So; demand money back (or replacement). Do this in writing. Also only accept answers in writing.
And if they wont play ball. Get a lawyer, I mean: its gotten to the point that it is matter of principle. I wouldn't even want the damn watch anymore. Money back + interest + a kneeled kiss on the shoe while swing: we are so sorry.
Better: demand that they buy you a JaegerLeCoultre or a Rolex (a watch that does work)
