Jaeger-LeCoultre

Yes. Although some will say that the Chopard is a derivative...

Whereas the Royal Oak and the Nautilus are superior to the Alpine Eagle since they are original concepts. The Alpine Eagle not being a true original concept - as it is a whole new thing with a slight resemblance to the Chopard St. Moritz line of watches from the 1980s. But from a movement perspective, the LUC 96 series movement is definitely one fantastic movement! So in some ways, the Royal Oak and Nautilus are superior in this aspect. But I still like the Chopard Alpine Eagle XPS with LUC movement. The Chopard 1860 is a nice piece too. Looking forward to reading your thoughts about the Chopard Alpine Eagle XPS with LUC movement and the Chopard 1860. The bracelet and "technical" things about the Alpine Eagle are superbly made - especially that bracelet. But is the lack of pedigree a problem? I even like the standard Alpine Eagle with the blue dial - although it's a little thick on my wrist. You know I prefer thinner watches on my wrist.
