It makes no sense if you look at JLC's second hand prices...
Maybe Catherine and Matthieu have a moon watch on their wrist and should come back down to earth....
Or maybe some people with no watchmaking culture are willing to pay exorbitant prices for things in order to show off their watches as a social marker... for my part, this is bullshit, not to mention the results it has produced: those who bought a Nautilus at 150k€ a Daytona at 45k€... or a Testarossa at over 100k€ may enjoy showing off their purchases but will never sell them at that price....
Personally, I think it's a pity that JLC has lost so much of its soul and has lost its way by following this meaningless trend.

But let's hope that this CEO is also going to raise not only prices, but also quality as well. At the end of the day, JLC needs to reflect the right values. If they're going to charge as much as Vacheron Constantin, then they need to have the same quality...

The blue one used to sit at airport duty free stores, strap all faded from the bright lights. Now, they're snatched up! At least they're snatched up by people who really like the watch - not speculators whom are just buying Rolexes to flip.

It is a very nice piece indeed. Not a fan of chrono complication for the reverso. I d rather prefer the duo faces or anything with moonphase and calendar, but not chrono.

given it is steel with such an impressive (but not perfect) skeleton chrono as well as a beautiful front dial. It is so tempting, but like many other brands, the ongoing price hikes make it difficult.

I think it the transmission of the minute information from the seconds hand to the retrograde counter that was quite ambitiousy done in the original and now has been simplified a bit?

I have always wanted an AE but the date window at 4 always bothers me. Therefore when this combination of a stunning pink dial, LUC 1.96 movement and thinner case comes along, I know this is the one I have been waiting for.
