WOW ! - What more can one say.. A juwel and a piece of history

.. in fact, for me, the front/ recto side is also marvellous,
with this art Deco look .. Simply enjoyable !

And this one of these verso - backside always will leave us with admiration for the creator,
the artist, and the person, to whose hommage this envouting specimen
has been born..

Also, your pictures do that beauty justice.. fantastique.. !

Finally a slight question :
- I somehow think to remember that in one of the Reverso's (?) Jubile posts or a
summary post about the DNA of this icon, there was another (!?) Reverso, where
by using a simliar concept for the artwork , various flight- routes and points were
engraved. - If I remember, it was either on the occasion of the first woman pilot
transatlantic solo flight ( 1932) or even a (partial) round the world hommage..

- If so, I also wondered, whether this 2nd watch also is in the heritage gallery,
or maybe if the heirs of Mrs Earhart or another museum are the current owners (?).

- Having said so, of course, sadly one remembers history quite well, that
Amelia Earhart, together with her navigator, disappeared and deceased
on a round the world flight attempt, in July 1937, only aged 39 yrs, somewhere in the Pacific,
in this attempt for a circumnavigational flight round the globe. ( source: Wikipedia, Internet),

are interwoven within a horological remarkable and fascinating example.

It is always a pleasure, to slowly enjoy and digest, what and when you come back from LGM,
