Jaeger-LeCoultre

Thx for the kindness.. You were absolutely right, Nico.. I was right a bit, as well.. As..

..another Reverso's backside depicting a flight route, but of a male aviator, which was reported and pictured by 219 ( aka Andrew H) in an excellent report about:

" A Historical Watch and a Watch of History: An Appeal for the Reverso Virtual museum"
on January 23, 2011, on the JLC Forum
- Unfortunately I've forgotten how to make a working link directly to that post,
( so please bear with me, if you like - Thus, I just have to work with a citation)
- This post also covers a number of famous Verso - sides of Reversos

The picture of this Reverso aviation Backside ( credit: 219) is below:

Andrew H description indicates : The Italian aviator Balbo , in 1933 led a fleet
of twenty four Flying boats on a round-trip/ 7-legs flight from Rome to Chicago
and the Verso- side shows those waypoints..

And Yes, the craftmanship for these extraordinary hommage items indeed and as well stunning..
- That way history is captured on the back of a watch..

Best, hs
