I own a Reverso
It's a great watch but the movement is outdated, it always gets magnetized and it doesn't even have hacking.
The concept of the watch is cool, that's why I bought it, but JLC should seriously consider updating the movements.
You get a better experience with an omega 8800 for way less money.
If they want it to compete with the holy trinity they would have to start putting more time into hand finishing the movement and improving the caliber.

Of the tier1 makers they take the biggest hit second hand, also there's a real plethora of reverso on the market already, it won't stop them from trying though.

why there is no boutique at all in whole Germany? In Munich we have a boutique for every big (and former big) watch brand (even Breitling just opened one).

Would not agree that Tank and Reverso are the same, e.g. the movements. But get your point. Agree, Master Control is close to being priced out of the market. Then again AP Code 11.59 for CHF 30k or so...? Polaris costs half as much. Hm...

A Cal. 1917 MC is in any way inferior to a Cal. 822. Both are fairly pedestrian both, features, finish and function. In fact, the 1917 is anti-magnetic where as the JLC isn't.

My Reverso gets magnetized easily as well but likely it’s easy to fix with a cheap demagnetizer for me

I too love my reverso, I'm just not that happy with the price increase and some of the latest releases. I have confidence in the brand though, I'm sure we'll see some exciting stuff in the future.

My Reverso delivers nothing but shear joy and appreciation for the brand and the Reverso heritage despite any of the criticisms noted below.
