Ain't that the truth! It was really tough to find my own style. When designing, I found there are so many derivative creations and copies that the noise is almost overwhelming. Nonetheless, I am confident I found my DNA. I am particularly proud of the case design and complexity (18 parts alone!). It took me 2 weeks to finalize the finishing surfaces for the case alone (tiniest details matter!). I'm going to be offering 5 dial colors in the initial production run and am pleased to say, they are resplendent in their aesthetic.

For myself, I'm usually most interested in quality of finishing.
Brands like Kari Voutilainen and Romain Gauthier achieve a level of finish that the big brands generally can't produce.

Re marketing, yes this was true of some folks for a long time but it seems that worry might have been allayed in the last year as collectors and speculators are finding them.

The case idea is nice, it’s been done in similar ways by Ian Schon for several years for his dials and for the body of his pens. Some really interesting results.
I think he also experimented with cases, but I’m not sure if that resulted in an end product.
