Thank you for sharing.  I’m also a huge fan of the Pratt era UJS watches, and on more than one occasion almost acquired one.  They are certainly being discovered by the general collector community.


I think that a lot of the value of the Smith watch is its rarity, Roger’s direct link with Daniels and the refined coaxial escapement movement.  I think the value is augmented by the mystique of the location where these watches are made, the Isle of Man.
