Andreas, Ztirual, Andy, I know where you're coming from. Let me tell you
that I, too, in the beginning was quite skeptical about the H9. However, my skepticism melted away once I left the narrow confines of the watch category and looked at it from a broader perspective.
What is key, is to not think of it in terms of a watch. This is a work of art, a sculpture. And this work of a art conveys a strong philosophic message. It challenges our relationship to time and it does so in a way that is both elegant and provocative.
Therefore, reactions like yours were to be expected and I think are inevitable and perfectly understandable. But the H9 is not meant to be what these reactions point to. The H9, for me, is above such concerns. It will never become a "daily beater", it will always keep the role of the special guest on your wrist. A guest who brings with him/her an invitation to detach oneself from our cluttered and busy everyday life, an invitation to ponder life outside ordinariness.
Just my two pennies worth...
Thanks, Valentin
