Omegas are really great pieces, and yes,
probably "enough" real watch, even if not your current " ultimate"..
But if you get that Speedy, you will encounter maybe others;
& there will be money left maybe..
You still can save funds for your next, and you may even re-sell
it, without major losses, if your heart still cries for the Dayto..
So no, there is no simple answer,
- ask your heart, and remember, there
probably always will be the next desirable target
in front of your eyes..

Hello all, I am 25, and over last few years, watches went from something i was "kinda" interested in, to a complete obsession. It got so bad that over the last year I probably check in on the feed every hour or so just to see whats the latest and greatest...
Go for the one. Save for the one. This is not that this Omega is a bad watch...

I will take the other side of the coin. There is no right or wrong.
The omega is no slouch. It is a watch that has history, allure, class etc. It will serve you well and is 1/2 to 1/4 of the price of the Daytona. If you can swing it enjoy a nice vintage Omega Speedy it should retain it value and you can sell in in a coupl...
