without doubt i would say yes.
Despite being pretty independent and going my own way in my collection the forum has been a big influence. I have learnt a lot from other members which has led me in one direction or another and i have read a lot about watches i had never heard of despite having nearly 15 years of collecting under my belt before finding the forum. One example would be the MIH. A watch that few know about until they read forums like this.
I would like to think that some members have been influenced by my collecting, but doubt that to be the case.

Of course, Andrew. My decision to go with 14060M and 210 were mostly influenced by
the craziness of PuristPro (in a good way, of course :) ) As for my last third purchase, the 114270 were my own decision without any influence from PuristPro, LOL. Next, i dont know, maybe will get some Tudor influence from PuristPro if any..... ;)

Not really, but perhaps I should. If course PuristsPro influences my decision making. I am in some cases influenced by the tastes of my fellow Purists, and in all cases I benefit from the accumulated knowledge in the fora before making a final decision.

It is not that PPro ABR is perfect. It is because I trust that the team knows what they are doing and I just contribute my tiny support. I will not be influenced by a lengthy watch review to buy that watch because that may not be impartial or may be taint...
