Andrew, the answer is obvious - PPro ABR.
It is not that PPro ABR is perfect. It is because I trust that the team knows what they are doing and I just contribute my tiny support.
I will not be influenced by a lengthy watch review to buy that watch because that may not be impartial or may be tainted with biasness. However, I will use that as a useful guide.
Having said that, I need to constantly remind myself that there are two dangerous persons who possess huge influencing power, they are our famous Amanico and GaryG.

I actually purchased the Reverso Grand Date on the back of reviews and comments by PuristS owners ... And there have been indirect influneces. Pplater will probably not remember this, but he said to me once that "every watch collection should contain a Sp...

Given the plethora of choices out there... I always find new and interesting watches on this forum. However, most importantly, I think about the watches that I've 'warmed up to' over time due to the posts of fellow collectors or 'reviews' that I find extr...

A large degree of the influence that PuristS have is built around respect for each others opinions. That respect is earned over a long period of time. I know who has the same priorities as I do in watches, who has the same taste, but also who jumps up and...

I would have never considered buying a UN Perpetual if it had not been for the enthusiasm by Marcus Hanke. Same for your review, Andrew, of the Breguet La Tradition. As for things to come, the Journe Tourbillon is certainly kept constantly in my mind by y...

I joined the forum, with specifically an interest in vintage Blancpain fifty Fathoms. Although I already owned a modern Omega and Rolex, I was not too bothered about looking at those pages, but then gradually, found myself reading (especially the Rolex pa...

When it's sometimes down to on-the-one-hand and on-ther-other-hand, a little nudge from the PuristS can make the difference. And not just in purchases but also deciding what to do with what you have. I've definitely kept one watch which I hardly wear afte...
