Yes...
Given the plethora of choices out there... I always find new and interesting watches on this forum. However, most importantly, I think about the watches that I've 'warmed up to' over time due to the posts of fellow collectors or 'reviews' that I find extremely helpful. Sometimes it is the explanation of a neat complication or even a material (like the how the ADLC of Cartier differs from that of other more typical DLC coatings)... just fascinating stuff. So if I were to say how many of my watch purchases were influenced by the Forum... I'd say roughly about 1/4... but all of my purhases benefitted from the information available on this Forum. It is truly one of the main reasons I visit the site daily.

the craziness of PuristPro (in a good way, of course :) ) As for my last third purchase, the 114270 were my own decision without any influence from PuristPro, LOL. Next, i dont know, maybe will get some Tudor influence from PuristPro if any..... ;)

Not really, but perhaps I should. If course PuristsPro influences my decision making. I am in some cases influenced by the tastes of my fellow Purists, and in all cases I benefit from the accumulated knowledge in the fora before making a final decision.

It is not that PPro ABR is perfect. It is because I trust that the team knows what they are doing and I just contribute my tiny support. I will not be influenced by a lengthy watch review to buy that watch because that may not be impartial or may be taint...
