Yup... dreaming of a Reverso
Hi All,
Yes I believe the PPro site has influenced my purchase decision. After using the site to research JLC, I attended a London GTG in late May, and tried on a couple of Reverso’s at the JLC boutique. Ever since then I have been saving the pennies for one! Purists often post about Reverso so I’m assuming it’s a popular model. Hopefully one day when I have a proper job and have finished my PhD I’ll be able to afford Grande Reverso Lady UltraThin Neva ;-) . Although I may have to ditch my designer handbag addiction :-( to start collecting these beautiful timepieces!
I’ve also learnt a lot about complications and watch mechanisms, it’s made me look at watches made by Gucci and Louis Vuitton from different perspective and the price you pay for them!
Perhaps I’ll start posting more when I have my Reverso on wrist… for now I’m enjoying reading everyones posts

Of course, Andrew. My decision to go with 14060M and 210 were mostly influenced by
the craziness of PuristPro (in a good way, of course :) ) As for my last third purchase, the 114270 were my own decision without any influence from PuristPro, LOL. Next, i dont know, maybe will get some Tudor influence from PuristPro if any..... ;)

Not really, but perhaps I should. If course PuristsPro influences my decision making. I am in some cases influenced by the tastes of my fellow Purists, and in all cases I benefit from the accumulated knowledge in the fora before making a final decision.

We should also ask ourselves if this influence has been
"correct" all the time. After being "influenced" were there any regrets or "I should not have listened to these influences"...

Andrew, the answer is obvious - PPro ABR.
It is not that PPro ABR is perfect. It is because I trust that the team knows what they are doing and I just contribute my tiny support. I will not be influenced by a lengthy watch review to buy that watch because that may not be impartial or may be taint...
