PHOTO COLLAGE of the GTG rules evolving as good times were had, and offenses were noted
Jan 06, 2020,16:30 PM
FOR EXAMPLE
We had to ensure a safe venue, no advance warning of the exact location and time of meeting, allowable behaviour, etc.
Robbery, violence, damage to another member's property, accidents due to drink and drive, etc. are definitely NOT what we want happening at a GTG.
Thus the "official" meetings are "chaperoned" by a moderator. And probably (I forget) he buys all the drinks for everyone for the entire evening, right? Right Nico, Bill?
EXAMPLES OF GTG Pics
I don't have photos of all the events -- I believe there were some in England I didn't document (with Graham G99 and some other folks) but here's an assortment of ancient history images:
Art Dr No goes berserk on my GS collection
MRs C, Anthony and Art hoof it back to the car after a few brewskis
A home-hosted GTG in Santa Monica
Nico gives South Coast Plaza JLC boutique a lesson in watch etiquette as TimJ and Mitch look on
Four nutty guys all try to put one hand in
and take a photo at the same time, on a cold foggy afternoon, after a few Red Ales (if I recall correctly)
Often we end up in the back room at a long table with the least senior waiter... I wonder why?
A massive snowstorm forced us to have a 3-person GTG in Brussels
A couple guys fighting over the check, I think?
Ken can't decide which of 100 sakes to choose for dinner in Tokyo
Ken and Casey have the waitress in stitches taking pictures of everything
This was a slightly informal accidental meet-up of a handful of guys at Feldmar in Los Angeles.

Mutual admiration society
Photo box between chips and entrees
Eats provided by jeweler now out of business :-( some time AFTER hosting us.
