Watch his instagram account and scroll back 6 months or so, all pictures don't show any interesting watch. But then things changed. Some say the turning point was when he was invited to the Ambani wedding where he definitely spoke Anant Ambani about watches, those pics went around the world.
But, no matter what the reason was ... Can somebody become an insane watchcollector in only a few months ? I mean starting from ZERO and now seemingly buy ultra high end watches every few weeks ?
I'm sure somebody helps him sourcing them cause in cause of the Greubel handmade ... that not the watch you can buy any day of the week, must have been secondhand I presume.
Anyway, hoping to see him with more watches and different brands.

ya and also maybe fed up of living surrounded by electronics
So totally understandable his new found fascination for mechanical watches. I have to say his taste is nice. all pieces are definitely beautiful and horologically significant.
Of course one can’t mature taste to make that kind of journey in 6 months
And I would think every minute of his schedule is occupied. I highly doubt he does his own watch shopping.

Did people expect him to wear a Hamilton or a datejust?! We can agree that owning those high end pieces doesn't automatically make him a knowledgeable collector, but nor is he claiming to be one.

Dont know his history in the watch game. Maybe he was a silent collector but for what i hear he bought most of them through a well know company who is also owner of some independent brands .
