Horological Meandering

But it's not exclusive.

It's a Chronode C101 with a bit more pampering. I made the price comment because it's just too much to justify for a time-only from an établisseur that's issuing their first product. $50 000 is a lot of money to ask for something that's high-end but just parts and not really a complete product. Pascal Coyon or Simon Brette have nothing to fear from this. Their watches are 30 500 EUR (33 000) for Series 2 and 50 000 CHF (55 000 USD) for the CA. Both sit in a comparable price bracket, but Simon Brette especially casts doubt on Fleming's product. There's soul, beauty, and mind-bending finishing coming from him, and not from Fleming. I think that just because the watch is more limited does not mean one should have to pay more. Ideally, one would save the extra money up and spring for a Chronomètre Artisans from Brette, if the two were simultaneously available.
