I see it as a nice collage of elements, he chose the best suppliers but didn't ask for the best designers who must not necessarily be into watchmaking.
Being "ignorant" is sometimes a plus, because you have no mind conditioning by the past.
P.s. it's hard to believe that every watch will be sold with a loss.
