Hi Daos,
wearing this watch a month without interruption - meaning no LD, MO, Habring or Seiko 5 - must have given you a pretty hard time 
!
But I think your report was really worth every day of this time: a well-executed and animating preamble to the watch and its year of introduction, an all-embracing description of the watch itself with special attention to its effects on eyes and hands/wrists of the wearer and finally a whole bunch of intriguing and lovely photos.

Regarding the size of the moon phase display, I think it was dimensioned this way, because it exactly follows the projection of the day and month windows which thus confine the moon phase and add harmony to the dial design.

For me personally...
