Girard Perregaux: Doesn't look too big on that photo

I've got the same size wrist. I've got the King size chrono and I believe that is smaller than the XXL. The King size doesn't look big on my wrist but it feels big.

Audemars Piguet: thanks everyone.

I might add a black strap later because it's more formal looking. Taken some more pix under normal daylight.

Audemars Piguet: new shoes for my ROC

Here are 2 quick and dirty pix of the new strap I received today in the mail. The pix don't do them any justice. It completely transformed my watch to a totally different watch. More comfy to wear than the bracelet too which is a plus. So glad I'd picked the grey colour.

Audemars Piguet: newcomer

Thanks for the wonderful review. I have been a fan of the ROC for a while. I recently pull the trigger after I saw some of the pix you've posted online previously. So Wayne my friend, a big thank you to you. Here's mine.

Girard Perregaux: perhaps GP wants to use this movement on their other models...

such as the vintage 1945. Which could be why it's only 25.6mm in diameter when they were designing the movement. Are they really bringing in a rattrapante version?? My initial thoughts on the movement, not bad but definitely not A. L&S or PP level. But I'll reserve my final judgement until I see

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Agree on the blue hands

Still one of the best looking and legible perpetual calendar out there. Well done JLC.

Officine Panerai: I prefer your dial too

The rotor on my PAM 98 doesn't spin freely. Most rotors that spins freely are uni-directional wound movements. ie: it spins freely in the opposite direction to direction which winds the watch. Because this movement winds in both directions. One direction for the watch and the other for the alarm fun
