The Tesla might not have the build quality. But it's getting better. And EUROPEAN markets get the made in China version which is probably better than the made in Fremont, USA version. But yes, there are certainly a lot of benefits in certain cantons in CHF on electric/hybrid cars! You made the right choice! The E420 V8 Mercedes is a very nice machine. I have a V8 Mercedes in my stable as well. As is the BMW 3 series. Another family member has a Lexus Hybrid that he just acquired and I've yet to drive it! I'll have to give it a go sometime. Hybrids really make sense, the amount of raw materials to make a gigantic battery Tesla battery is tremendous. And a smaller Tesla Model 3 battery can supply 2-3 dozen hybrids - so hybrids make a lot of sense. It also makes sense because many people don't park their cars in a place where the car can charge overnight - or at least that infrastructure doesn't exist yet.
Picked up my wife new SUV…this is the XC90 Recharge and it’s really comfortable and a joy to drive…I had two layers of nano coating finish on it…and yes it is as shinny as the last picture when it’s clean!

That is a great and interesting question. To be honest it was/is not a consideration so far but I leave where we have plenty of electricity production and we already many more choices then Tesla charging station…
