I had a BMW 3 series long time ago, when i was young and handsome. The steering of BMW is just razor sharp. Before the BMW i had a Mercedes E420 V8 and boy was this car comfortable. Two attributions that RAV4 lacks. On the other hand, Toyota of course is of course still not there, but other attributes deliver from the Japanese, such as "value for money", "built quality", "technology", etc.... .I have had over 7 Hybrids in my life and never had an issue with them, which is really impressive!
Furthermore, some insurance companies will give you an additional discount of 20-25% on Hybrid/Electric cars and some cantons will even waive the yearly registration fees (few hundreds to thousands, depending on the weight and size of the car and engine!).
So, yes, dear Patrick, Toyota Rav4 is not precise really, but the whole package does it for me.
Cheers
