The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is an impressive vehicle!

And as you said, on paper, it's a quality product with great long-term reliability, and the price is even reasonable. But sometimes Toyota products just don't feel the same on the road as European cars. There's a certain sense of stability that the European cars have. They seem to perform more confidently and are easier to modulate. For instance, precise braking is hard in any car, but a race car driver can brake the car from a high speed into a perfectly sized box in certain precise cars, but generally can't in cars that are difficult or inconsistent to modulate. I'd say Toyotas are generally much more difficult to be very precise in. It's not a very quantifiable nor measurable attribute, thus can't be practically measured. But yes, that Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is one nice machine! Plus it's economical to run and insure, and the depreciation is low. A great machine! A family member wanted one but ended up getting a sedan instead.
