The RAV4 seem like a great choice. Here is the rational on my side for the XC90:
- The seat! (I have back problem and the Volvo seat are so comfortable for me);
- Air suspension - comfort
- Auto Pilot - required as driving in traffic gives me back problem and I really like the Volvo Auto Pilot, not as advance as Tesla but better then most German car I tried
- Long Wheelbase - this XC90 actually has a longer wheelbase then my Panamera - again comfort to not have to much roll in crapy road is are standard in my country!
- Good performance - the hybrid version provide plenty of power
- Full electric mode of 60km-70km with new battery, way better then most recent hybrid with only ~30km range
- Built quality (we already had another Volvo SUV and we love it)
- Great Value…if I take all the above criteria combined with built quality The Volvo is easily 20 to 50k to Germans with these attributes
- And last but not least, its not a car that attracts attention…

Picked up my wife new SUV…this is the XC90 Recharge and it’s really comfortable and a joy to drive…I had two layers of nano coating finish on it…and yes it is as shinny as the last picture when it’s clean!
I never thought I would love Volvo SUV so much! After driving this one…I ordered the new EX90 full electric one…should arrive in 2024. ...

That is a great and interesting question. To be honest it was/is not a consideration so far but I leave where we have plenty of electricity production and we already many more choices then Tesla charging station…

Who knows if it'll be any good. They didn't skimp out on the tires to get more range (one way to get more range is to have skinny tires, but this reduces braking ability). But the brake caliper and the brake rotors look tiny in the wheel. A common problem...
