Interesting that you are also choosing the next as electric. I’m paying attention that all (or most) brands are offering more and more EV models, so it’s clear to me that that should be the next practical and intelligent move (for me). Although I don’t necessarily want another Tesla for myself, I keep wondering how all the people who are choosing non-Tesla EV will deal with charging needs outside the house.🤔
I occasionally see a couple of non-Tesla chargers in random locations, but the charging infrastructure isn’t the same…unless any car can also use a Tesla charger??
Is this something you considered as part of your decision? Otherwise, I figure as long as I don’t go on far out of town trips, then I would be able to reliably use a home charger for any brand EV I get. We’ll see.
Picked up my wife new SUV…this is the XC90 Recharge and it’s really comfortable and a joy to drive…I had two layers of nano coating finish on it…and yes it is as shinny as the last picture when it’s clean!

That is a great and interesting question. To be honest it was/is not a consideration so far but I leave where we have plenty of electricity production and we already many more choices then Tesla charging station…
