... barely a new watch keeps its original strap or bracelet, once it is in my possession. Changing straps is among my favourite activities around my watches, only topped by buying a new tiempiece. Sometimes, it is quite a challenge to find a new and well ...  

Now, how hard was it to pick the 2 watches?

Since here, in medical rehabilitation, I do not have access to all watch picture files at home. Otherwise I would have spent some hours to select only two watches as asked. Marcus

But with a pilot strap it looks more like military watch, more like an universal tool watch. I like the new look more and more!

Now I can wear it daily without thinking about scratching the bracelet and it looks even better!

That Hirsch is great, I have a similar one, but, sadly, never use it. As for the PAM straps, that's an overload. I like the combo on the Luminor you singled out the best of all shown. That last photo shows the true 'tool watch' status.

I find lizard works better with simple dials, like this Cal 89. ...  

I really does work best on vintage, simple dials. A beautiful and rarely seen IWC.

I find lizard straps often hard to match, but this one was a fortuitous match.

Your first photo is what got me to go with the white strap for the DSA. So, for me, that's the winner, but I am incredibly biased here. For the El Primero, I prefer the second one, but both are great.

Is it the Molequin dove grey? I have one too but never thought to try it on the Tricolor... Now I will!

it's from Hodinkee. i also have the dove grey from Molequin, it's a bit darker from this one. but the Molequin's dove grey will pair nicely too cheers

What unfortunately is lost a little in the photo is the fact that the color of the strap exactly matches the color of the rubies on the dial. This way the strap even somehow respects the nature of the watch. Have a great weekend my dear friend, Martin

I was surprised how cool the case is. Often overlooked in favor of the showcase dials, but the combo of brushed and polished surfaces, the angles, and the way it all comes together can be a star on its own.
