Let me play with two of my 'oldest' Patek this week, as I immediately liked their new shoes and never went back to the original ones:

Patek 5119R and 5124G, for which I asked for some light blue and flashy red new shoes, respectively (both kindly sent complimentary by Patek), so to make their looks a tad less formal... Cheers.
Hello all, As announced, this week's theme is 'New Shoes'. Let us see your (good or bad) combinations, ideas, changes, and modifications. I really look forward to this one, as we all keep tinkering. I will play with... My most aesthetically successful str...

... barely a new watch keeps its original strap or bracelet, once it is in my possession. Changing straps is among my favourite activities around my watches, only topped by buying a new tiempiece. Sometimes, it is quite a challenge to find a new and well ...
Since here, in medical rehabilitation, I do not have access to all watch picture files at home. Otherwise I would have spent some hours to select only two watches as asked. Marcus
And yeah, I had to limit this, otherwise some people could easily post 100+ combos. And I don’t want to be responsible for judges getting carpal tunnel syndrome.
Submariner LGF on a dark brown shell cordovan pilot's strap with a panareiesque clasp: The whole package works quite well with a tool watch like the Submariner LGF. ...
to remove the Oyster Strap but a little fiddly to put the spring bars back on, still managable though. There is no way of scratching the case. During jogging this morning: ...
Been too long, still thinking of you all and the many good times... Here's a strap I had made to add a little pop to small watch I just couldn't resist. ...
to illustrate the thread opening!! I’m a strapaholic like our friend Marcus said!! It’s amazing to view how a set of straps can change the character of a watch and enhance its charm for its owner. Also... it is almost a part of the fun in a brand like Pan...
That Hirsch is great, I have a similar one, but, sadly, never use it. As for the PAM straps, that's an overload. I like the combo on the Luminor you singled out the best of all shown. That last photo shows the true 'tool watch' status.
agree with you: some times I feel I got an overload of straps!! Lol! I’m happy to know you like the yellow straps with blue accents for my Pam 87!! Always a pleasure to participate in our WS feature!! Hagwe!! Abel
Therefore I decided to change the standard strap to a more adequate „20,000 miles below the sea“ version. Fortunately I found a strapmaker in South Corea who was able to make me the strap I hoped for... ...
Your first photo is what got me to go with the white strap for the DSA. So, for me, that's the winner, but I am incredibly biased here. For the El Primero, I prefer the second one, but both are great.
The judges this week are going to have a very hard time Here is my sole submission. I've just realized that I am supremely boring as this is one of only two pieces in my collection that is not on the original OEM strap. I really need to acquire some creat...
.. I mean, choosing only 2 watches. The first thing I do when buying a new watch is getting colorful straps for it! I will go with the latest ones I've played with... The rolex Pepsi and patek aquanaut. Cheers! Alex ...
Since I got the PanoInverse FirstGen last year I have been wondering why G.O. never have tried to sell it to the Ladies. Here on my wife's wrist on a Chopard caoutchouc that never fails to radiate its Stawberry fragrance. Indeed, they build such things Be...
What unfortunately is lost a little in the photo is the fact that the color of the strap exactly matches the color of the rubies on the dial. This way the strap even somehow respects the nature of the watch. Have a great weekend my dear friend, Martin
I got this one originally on an alligator strap, but two years or so, changed it to a kudu strap....from same watch brand... your guesses gentlemen..??? to be continued..... ...
I was surprised how cool the case is. Often overlooked in favor of the showcase dials, but the combo of brushed and polished surfaces, the angles, and the way it all comes together can be a star on its own.
