Love this watch on the bracelet

Is Geneva set as the hometown on the watch hence the engraving or is this a different edition? I have only had one of these on once from memory and do not remember it being engraved (maybe I just forgot!). I have also never seen this on a bracelet before!... 

There are several other editions with Geneva on the dial though, including the Children Auction 2012, some past 2523s, etc.. Mine is an application piece but is currently in the regular collection, ref. 5131P, and that's his own bracelet. Best wishes

Well one of them! When the press pictures came out, I was a bit put off by the writing on the dial (it seemed a lot bolder), but from seeing it in the flesh I can say it does not attract from the eye and is a beauty! Congrats Andrew

Its the first Montfort I have seen actually in ownership... I was very impressed with the dial of the prototype I saw a while back, very interesting indeed. Not too knowledgeable about Seiko, this has an enamel dial? Looks great in the light. Cheers Andre... 

Yes, the Montfort dial is the main reason to purchase as is the hardened steel case. The dial is 3D printed with steel powder that is then heat fused solid. Also fired is the grand feu enamel dial of the Seiko Presage 60th Anniversary Chronograph. Montfor...

Montfort is Swiss owned and its name based on the French: strong mountains. The steel is hardened with nitrogen and carbon. Read my introductory article HERE . I ordered two for the current Mrs MTF and me. She has the Strata 'Bruce' and mine is the Strata...

My latest purchase is the Tudor Black Bay with ETA movement. It has become somewhat collectible as they no longer make it with ETA. Not super new and a far cry from my favorite but I love it! ...  

I actually like the ETA versions due to the writing on the dial (without the extra line) and also as that line has been finished with the introduction of their in-house movement. Did you search specifically for the ETA version? It reminds me that I havent... 

I actually found an AD around 6 months ago that had one ETA left and rest in house. Without hesitation I jumped on the ETA. Just dumb luck...

Do you know the history and when it comes from? Also to my totally uneducated vintage eye, it is strange to have Bucherer's on the dial (verses Bucherer)... Cheers Andrew

My latest watch is my SalmonBlue Czapek ...  

and the more pictures I see, the more I think I should look at Czapek. The salmon is just a perfect colour and with that blue strap to pull of the blue hands/markers, it is just wonderful. Cheers Andrew

Do the gray skies make my watch look blue? This is certainly the most difficult watch to photograph that I have bought in a long time Reflections! Here's one sans reflections (finally!) Cazalea ...  

The first looks a bit purplish. The "reflection" shot is terrific.

... with that classy spirit of the Brand. The Santos is a very elegant timepiece and the new feature of easy changing of straps and bracelet and the quick link feature of its bracelet makes for an easy change of looks from more formal to more sporty image...
