Wowsers... an RM50!
May 11, 2018,01:24 AM
Stunning watch! I had one of these on my wrist (too briefly) a few weeks back, really nicely done.
Did you choose it for the McLaren partnership or just the model?
Cheers

Both the Hamilton and the pic in the morning/evening light? Very good look on this leather nato too. Cheers Andrew
Very nice!
By: andrewluff : May 11th, 2018-01:28
Is Geneva set as the hometown on the watch hence the engraving or is this a different edition? I have only had one of these on once from memory and do not remember it being engraved (maybe I just forgot!). I have also never seen this on a bracelet before!...
Uber pretty!

An amazing watch.
The PP Anniversary piece...
By: andrewluff : May 11th, 2018-01:29
Well one of them! When the press pictures came out, I was a bit put off by the writing on the dial (it seemed a lot bolder), but from seeing it in the flesh I can say it does not attract from the eye and is a beauty! Congrats Andrew
Pure bliss in blue

The Nautilus one is really a winner . Enjoy it in good health Best Stefan
I am a big fan of this LE!
By: andrewluff : May 11th, 2018-01:34
It really is a great homage to the original and I love that blue hand, a great watch. I almost went for one when I heard it was announced and before it was quickly sold out... if that hand had only been orange Cheers Andrew
Congrats on this one!
By: TheMadDruid : May 11th, 2018-08:49
I tried so hard to get it. Every time one was available I'd get an email but it was in the middle of the night here. My replies were somewhat late!
Nice one!

Montfort 3D printed and sintered steel dial and Seiko enamel dial
By: MTF : May 11th, 2018-12:48
Yes, the Montfort dial is the main reason to purchase as is the hardened steel case. The dial is 3D printed with steel powder that is then heat fused solid. Also fired is the grand feu enamel dial of the Seiko Presage 60th Anniversary Chronograph. Montfor...

The Montfort is unknown to me. British?
Swiss French
By: MTF : May 11th, 2018-12:33
Montfort is Swiss owned and its name based on the French: strong mountains. The steel is hardened with nitrogen and carbon. Read my introductory article HERE . I ordered two for the current Mrs MTF and me. She has the Strata 'Bruce' and mine is the Strata...

Tudor
By: Steiner1975 : May 10th, 2018-16:35
My latest purchase is the Tudor Black Bay with ETA movement. It has become somewhat collectible as they no longer make it with ETA. Not super new and a far cry from my favorite but I love it! ...
Spot on!
By: andrewluff : May 11th, 2018-01:39
I actually like the ETA versions due to the writing on the dial (without the extra line) and also as that line has been finished with the introduction of their in-house movement. Did you search specifically for the ETA version? It reminds me that I havent...

By: Steiner1975 : May 11th, 2018-03:58
I actually found an AD around 6 months ago that had one ETA left and rest in house. Without hesitation I jumped on the ETA. Just dumb luck...

By: andrewluff : May 11th, 2018-01:41
Do you know the history and when it comes from? Also to my totally uneducated vintage eye, it is strange to have Bucherer's on the dial (verses Bucherer)... Cheers Andrew
Sweet.

History on the wrist.
Thanks Guys
By: watch-guy.com : May 11th, 2018-17:10
Regarding Andrews question " Bucherer's" vs " BΓΌcherer" I just contacted a collector who has a Rolex BB from Bucherer- it also says " Bucherer's"- go figure?? J

Its RAF or army? I know nothing about these old military Omega's, I have seen a few in auction catalogues but think it is one of these things you have to seriously study as am sure it is a 'minefield' of not so original ones out there. Cheers Andrew
