When I met Kari I explained that I would actually like a PR on the watch as it's a manual wind. He then had a picture on the CAD of one he was designing for another client and I said that's what I want. It added another CHF 8000 to the bill. The guilloche can just be overwhelming as there is literally hundreds of options. The mistakes or complications that u cannot see is that I wanted enamel versus lacquer. That's an extra CHF 6000! I then chose blue which was the first complication as blue enamel on german silver dial goes black. So they had to do the dial.on 18ct yellow hold to keep it blue. You will see around.d the enamel a thin metal border which is the hinge of the enamel insert yo the rest of the dial. The precision needed to cut out the insert and refit perfectly is just mind numbing. Possibly an error is that the PR was not enamelled. That was purely technical. In order to attach it the pins were impossible as the PR movement interfered with placement
There was no easy technical solution so we had this variance. There were some mistakes...I would definately have a ruthenium movement and pushed him a it more on say the numerals. U can.pretty much do what u want as long as u dont mess with the.lugs and case. It was a fun experience
