Four passions here since . . .
Nov 27, 2020,15:28 PM
. . . my teens: music, exemplified by following the Stones on tour . . .
[Anaheim, '13]
. . . with forty shows under my belt since '78; ale . . .
[pint of Newcastle]
. . . with forty firkins under my belt (maybe more!); Omegas old and new . . .
. . . with almost forty in my possession; and pool. My game is bank-the-eight.
There's another passion which grew out of playing pool: collecting pool cues. Over a dozen currently in my collection, not to mention the half-dozen given away as gifts. Here's the latest project still under construction, which should be ready in a few weeks, constructed from pink ivory and bois de rose.
Coming full circle, though: the Stones are retiring soon, I've had to cut down drastically on ale for medical reasons, and most of the Omegas I want are already in my collection. So the only passion that will stay with me for life is pool and pool cues.

Now that I think about it, all my passions can be fulfilled simultaneously: playing pool in a bar while wearing an Omega and loading up the jukebox with music.

Hey!
. . . said it best.
