To answer your question, I would say no. I don't understand how there could be such a cost savings to make those two parts plastic, charge a few bucks more.. Unless they are saying it is some kind of technology that makes it better over the long run but we don't know how it will do yet, even then I still don't see it. I am surprised how accurate they claim to be being out of plastic.
