Respectfully disagree
While I respect your perspective, I must express my strong disagreement. I was under the impression that this forum, despite being US-based, wouldn't necessarily facilitate discussions promoting firearms. It appears to me that the focus of the site is watches, hence the name 'WatchProSite' and not 'GunsProSite' 😀
Here in Switzerland, as you certainly know, we have a rich tradition in watchmaking, but we do not promote firearm ownership, let alone "marketing".
I am not sure where you got this statistics that "a large number of people own firearms". This is not the case unless a large number of people means these in military service. It's true that soldiers on duty may store weapons at home, but never ammunition.
In my opinion, posts concerning weapons seem out of place in a forum devoted to watches. I recognise that my viewpoint might not be widely shared, but I wanted to put it out there 'for the record.'
