Feel sorry for you Nico. How a little animal can be so close to our heart is amazing. Sammy, one of my beloved rabbits, passed away 3 months ago.

I had two rabbits, too. They were fantastic companions. They were always free in my house ( very painful for my walls and electric wires the first year ) or in the country. They never escaped.

Sorry for your loss! Living with animals is an amazing thing, I get sad just thinking about when that day will come for our dog. On the plus side, they are reminders for us all to enjoy our time while we have it.

I think that as long as live with them, you don't have to think about the loss. That's when you have to make a decision to get another one, or not, that this idea is invading you.
