Your comment had me thinking about a good trick to protect your Rolex
I heard about this technique from a friend who had friend who had a bad incident. Yes theft out on the street it was in a European country which will remain nameless. However the technique is valid anywhere in the world. Basically what is recognizable is the oyster band. When it is spotted it draws attention and yes on a scooter two seconds later watch is gone. The buckle comes off without too much difficulty. Now your choices are twofold. Where the watch on a leather strap it remains chic for your friends company and safe from prying eyes. The second is to wear a nato strap which offers a lot of security. Looks great on the wrist and safe.
This really can be applied to any watch.

we could also do the same thing already in use for vintage cars : for ex. when a watch is 20 years old .. it instantly becomes a " vintage " one .. the cruel thing will happen in 2018/9 ... when lumi dials will have 20 years ..... what shall we do then ??...
