A funny detail on a Rolex Explorer 1016.

No, the most interesting thing is the quartal... The watch is from 1966, that's ok. But as you know, each year has 4 quartal.
Here you have... VI.66.
Signature of Evil, with the number of the Beast, or an engraver at Rolex who was a bit dyslexic?
Everything is possible... We may also guess that the Devil is dyslexic. 
On a more serious note, this is not the first time I / we notice that weird detail. I saw the same VI 66 with Rolex 5513, another 1016, and a few other references.

Seems to be specific to a serial range 1,5xx,xxx for 66 and 1,7xx,xxx for 67
