Then went on about justifying your original stance. I am not talking about the wheels or bridges....
I was very clear in asking if you could see a difference in the CHAMFERS on plates/bridges. This isn't about "more" of anything. A chamfer is a chamfer. Can you, or can you not see the difference?
The issue is that YOU accused a member of heresay yet YOU claimed, falsely, that all Pateks are finished to the same degree. That's clearly totally untrue. You were hypocritical in your comments, so that's where my issue comes. You accused one member of doing something you were activly doing to them.
Simply put, you said MJ was spreading inaccurate information but you were the one doing so by saying all Pateks are finished to the same degree.
What puzzles me is I have never once seen Patek make this claim. Where did you hear this? I'm really curious as what your source of this is? What's it someone at Patek? A piece of their literature? Or was is just, simply, heresay.

Ever since the Patek Phillipe Seal was introduced back in 2009.
It seemed to be a thing only with the 324 calibers. The higher end ones have great finishing, not slightly as great as their minute repeaters with Dufour-level finishing but still.

That's partially true.
That was true a long time ago. Lange cut some corners a long time ago by not finishing parts you couldn't see or sides of parts you couldn't see. Today, Lange will finish everything to a very high standard, including the parts you don't see.
