that is the beauty with watch collecting....nobody...absolutely nobody....has the right to call someone else's taste as "wrong" or "stupid". In exactly the same way that calling a 33mm watch "stupid" it is similarly incorrect to label these Nautillus as somehow "wrong or stupid". They will appeal to certain tastes and to those tastes, congratulations. They have found watches that they love.....for others, these are not the watches they expected...so there is disappointment....and one must also sympathise with that.
But you are right...it is incorrect to denigrate someone else's taste. Nobody has a monopoly on good taste.

In the past the collectors knew what made each piece special

Whilst many will be underwhelmed I get the wait for 50. The platinum is a nice piece and well the blue looks good on any Nautilus however I\'m not personally a fan of the "40" text. I find the size reference intriguing and wonder how the Chrono stacks up ...
