The most important question for me is
if I feel comfortably with the prize I have to pay.
If I feel ... outsmarted or cheated I cannot enjoy what I have bought.
The pleasure to own a watch for me is to WEAR a piece of art being consistent with your life and what you are (want to be). The joy doesn’t come from what other people lust for or appreciate or think or perhaps later would pay to me.
Buying a watch is / should be a very personal matter.

PP has done such a good job not delivering Nautilus anymore that now people are moving to the Aquanaut?
Has that been the game plan? Uplifting the Aquanaut also to a legend status? Looking at the second hand market it seems to be in the lift as well. Not as bizarre as the Nautilus, but let’s wait and see what will happen. ...

Broaden the interest in another model and rest the Nautilus. Only one big problem demand and supply of the Aquanaut has become a big mess.
I think patek are doing the right thing by not increasing supply of these models.

Aquanaut gets more wrist time
As someone with the 5711, 5167A and 5167R, I can tell you my Aquanauts get more wrist time than my Nautilus does. I guess it’s down to personal preference.

And a PP is in no way comparable with a Rolex. I love my Daytona 116500 a lot but thats’s a completely different concept of a watch.
I don't see the value in an Aquanaut model to keep an eye on it. If will rise in price - is famously, will fall - so the and be.
