As someone with the 5711, 5167A and 5167R, I can tell you my Aquanauts get more wrist time than my Nautilus does. I guess it’s down to personal preference.

And a PP is in no way comparable with a Rolex. I love my Daytona 116500 a lot but thats’s a completely different concept of a watch.

For me personally, the best sports steel watch over $10,000 - Daytona. Sorry for the platitudes.

At one point, I did not like the look of the Aquanaut, but over the years it grew on me. When I had the opportunity to put one on I knew what I was going to do. I felt silly because I had been critical of it for a long time, but love is love. I love steel... 

I find I wear mine all the time: despite having plenty of choice! I don’t know why I like it but I do. It has real charm. It gets to you... it should not attract a premium but I get why it does. I think it will become an icon.
